Mosaic Creative is a small training consultancy specialising in the use of drama and art to enhance learning and development. Our approach is about provoking reaction, communicating ideas, exploring meaning and unlocking the creative potential in others. Mosaic Creative is a collaboration of creative professionals led by Jackie Mouradian providing resources and training courses on community development processes and issues such as church and community engagement, volunteer management, good governance, creative facilitation, mental health, and modern slavery.
Jackie Mouradian
Jackie is a facilitator, actress, script writer and film editor, and has a passion for making resources and training workshops accessible for all. She writes sketches and monologues and produces animations to bring familiar Bible passages alive and provoke discussion. She also co-writes resources on community development processes and issues including church and community engagement, poverty in its various forms, mental health issues, and modern slavery. As a consultant for the Clewer Initiative she has written delivered several courses on raising awareness of county lines drug trafficking in the UK.
Bill Crooks
Bill has worked as a facilitator with the not-for-profit sector for over 35 years, both in this country and overseas, running courses on a wide range of development issues. He is an accomplished cartoonist and illustrator, and uses these skills to powerful effect in his training courses and workshops. With Jackie, he has co-written community development resources for use in the UK and overseas, and produced many animations on Bible stories and community development issues and tools. He has a passion for working with refugees in our country, and helping them to express their feelings and process their experiences through art.
Simon Mattacks
Simon has been a prominent voiceover artist for over 30 years, featuring in adverts, cartoons and corporate videos. He also works as an actor and audiobook narrator. I He can record, edit and a deliver a voiceover for you from his professional home studio, usually the same day. Simon has worked with Jackie on her latest book and audio book, Following the Son, playing the part of Simon Peter and editing the audio book.
The Clewer Initiative
The Clewer Initiative is the national work of the Church of England to combat modern slavery. More formally known as the Order of St John the Baptist, the Clewer sisters are an order of Anglican nuns who donate generously to causes related to the eradication of human trafficking. Jackie Mouradian has been working with the Clewer Initiative since 2017. With Bill Crooks, she has co developed their training resources on modern slavery and county lines and has been one of the key trainers, raising awareness of the nature and scale of county lines drug trafficking in our country.
The Mothers Union
The Mothers’ Union is a Christian organisation that has been supporting families worldwide for nearly 150 years. As a Christian membership charity, the MU works towards ending poverty, ending inequality ending injustice. Their members work at grassroots level around the world. They bring hope and practical support to millions of people every year through parenting, literacy and community development programmes. Along with Bill Crooks, Jackie has worked as a consultant for the Mothers Union for 20 years, both in the UK and overseas, providing training and resources on church and community engagement, notably, their international resource ‘Awaken’ and UK resource for churches, ‘Stories on the Street.’
Noble Studio
A creative collective, using design to accelerate positive change for people and the planet. Noble studio are passionate about supporting impact-driven organisations and have graphically designed several Mosaic resources, including Stories on the Street, Following the Son, Reimagining Groupwork, and the A-Z of Volunteer Management.
